Spring Jazz 2026 in Zakopane
Spring Jazz in Zakopane is an event that has set the rhythm for the May holiday under the Tatra Mountains for years. A recognizable brand on the Polish music scene, and at the same time part of the international project United Europe Jazz Festival, it attracts both jazz lovers and guests seeking unique cultural experiences.
The festival combines long-standing tradition with a modern approach to music, presenting a broad stylistic palette – from classic jazz, through soul and swing, to fusion, electronics, and experimental projects. It is an open, diverse event accessible to everyone – both connoisseurs and those just discovering the world of jazz.
Over the years, some of the biggest stars of Polish music have performed on the Spring Jazz stage, including Urszula Dudziak, Ewa Bem, Hanna Banaszak, Krystyna Prońko, Andrzej Jagodziński, Adam Bałdych, and Leszek Możdżer, as well as acclaimed bands such as Jazz Band Młynarski-Masecki and Laboratorium. The festival not only celebrates established artists but also supports young talents – the Jazz Talent Competition is a unique opportunity for new creators to present themselves to a wider audience.
Program 2026 – three days full of music
This year’s edition of the festival features three intensive concert days (May 1–3), filled with excellent performances and an unforgettable atmosphere.
May 1 will begin with a musical tribute to Jerzy “Duduś” Matuszkiewicz – one of the most outstanding creators of Polish music. The evening will be enhanced by a concert by Leszek Możdżer – one of the most valued Polish pianists, who will perform works by distinguished composers such as Chopin, Komeda, and Namysłowski.
May 2 is a special evening with a “Ladies’ Night” vibe. The stage will feature, among others, the Paper Moon Trio from Slovakia, the energetic and charismatic Siggy Davis, and the legend of the Polish music scene – Grażyna Łobaszewska with the Ajagore band.
May 3 is the festival finale – a day for fans of jazz, fusion, and modern sounds. Artists from the Czech Republic will perform – Martin Brunner Band, the outstanding saxophonist Maciej Sikała Trio, and the legend of the Polish music scene – the SBB band.
