49th International Karol Szymanowski Music Festival in Zakopane

From July 19–25, 2026, Zakopane will once again become the capital of classical music. The 49th International Karol Szymanowski Music Festival is a week of exceptional concerts during which we will hear both works by the festival's patron and compositions by the greatest classical music composers.

Opening Concert at Nosalowy Dwór

We warmly invite you to the festival opening concert, which will take place on July 19, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Nosalowy Dwór Resort & Spa.

On stage will be the Symphony Orchestra and Choir of the Silesian Philharmonic conducted by Yaroslav Shemet and the outstanding tenor Andrzej Lampert. The program will include compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Eugeniusz Knapik, as well as the monumental Symphony No. 3 "Song of the Night" by Karol Szymanowski – one of the most important works of 20th-century Polish music.

In the following days, the festival will continue in various venues around Zakopane, featuring piano and vocal recitals, chamber concerts, and performances by renowned Polish artists. This is a unique opportunity to discover the works of Karol Szymanowski and spend summer evenings in the atmosphere of top-class music.
