11th Breath Run in Zakopane

On August 30, 2026, Zakopane will once again run for people with cystic fibrosis. Ahead of us is the 11th edition of the Run for Breath – a unique event organized by the Polish Cystic Fibrosis Association, combining physical activity with real support.

Participants can run or walk a 5-kilometer route through the streets of Zakopane. Each purchased starter kit helps support the Association’s beneficiaries. Funds raised help finance home rehabilitation and physiotherapy, equip a free equipment rental, support medication purchases, and provide psychological and educational assistance.

The run is traditionally followed by a charity family picnic featuring attractions, games, and contests for all families.
