Kościeliska Street lying along the Cicha Woda stream is the oldest street in Zakopane. The first stores, marketplaces and inns were built on this street. It is also there, at the intersection with Kasprusie street, where the oldest wooden church in Zakopane is found, called the Old Church.Right next to it is the Gąsienica chapel and the cemetery also bearing the name of the The Cemetery of the Merit at Pęksowy Brzyzk.The whole is formed by a complex of church buildings located on the Wooden Architecture Trail.
