The scavenger hunt is a game where participants work together to achieve certain goals. They do not have to be very fit as the game is an intellectual challenge. It is also an attractive part of an incentive meeting and a new form of sightseeing.
It is a mixture of RPG and scouts’ games. The streets of Zakopane are the game’s board and the players’ goal is to find Janosik’s axe and Maryna’s necklace. The players have to link places and facts and be quick at solving puzzles.
The aim of the scavenger hunt is to see the attractions and mysteries of Zakopane. It is a sightseeing game so you will be able to discover the so far unknown facts from Zakopane’s life but also go on a great adventure. The teams consist of 5 players who register and then draw their route which is determined by surprising tasks. Each puzzles leads to another and you never know where you will have to go next and what you will find there. You can walk or even drive but always together – team work is the key to success.
The teams get a map of Zakopane with points where they can find information and details about the tasks. They have to walk the whole route and reach the finish as fast as they can. They start at the X point and get their first task. Depending on the outcome they get directions to another point which could be closer to the finish line if they answered correctly or further if they give the wrong answer. The players form the game themselves just by making decisions and solving problems.
